Strengthening Impact Through Capacity Building

Date: 4 April 2026

The recent training session on proposal writing at Sangam marked another progressive step in building a more सक्षम (capable), connected, and future-ready ecosystem for social impact organisations. The session seamlessly blended updates, learning interventions, and forward-looking action points—creating a high-engagement, outcome-driven environment.

Key Updates

The session opened with a series of encouraging developments across the Sangam network:

  • Sangam Website Revamp
The updated website is now live: sangamngoforum.org. This milestone reflects a strong collaboration with Transpek Industry. Special acknowledgment to Mr. Bimal for accelerating the execution and ensuring timely delivery. The platform is now better positioned as a digital backbone for visibility, networking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Sponsorship Milestone
Sponsorship support has been successfully secured for the upcoming VIC TFJ Fest, reinforcing confidence in Sangam’s initiatives and expanding the scope for impactful execution.
  • Mulya Foundation – Investor Engagement
Mulya Foundation recently hosted investor visits at their site. These engagements have translated into potential funding commitments, indicating strong alignment between grassroots impact and investor confidence.
  • Dialogue with Koshish Milaap Trust
Initial discussions were held to understand funding requirements for educational exposure trips and salaries.

Capacity Building: Proposal Writing Session

The core segment of the session focused on Proposal Writing Fundamentals, facilitated by Ramesh Sir and Rameshwari Madam.

The approach was highly interactive, incorporating:

  • Conceptual clarity on proposal structuring
  • Group discussions to simulate real-world scenarios
  • Collaborative thinking to align problem statements with funder expectations

This participatory format ensured that learning was not just theoretical but also actionable.

Emerging Needs & Strategic Suggestions

A key insight from the session was the need to deep-dive into specialised areas. Participants collectively recommended:

  • A dedicated session on Compliance to ensure regulatory alignment
  • A focused workshop on Budgeting, enabling organisations to present financially robust and transparent proposals

These interventions will help elevate the quality and credibility of submissions in the funding ecosystem.

Way Forward: From Learning to Execution

This session was not just a knowledge-sharing exercise—it was an alignment touchpoint. The focus now shifts to:

  • Translating proposal writing skills into successful funding outcomes
  • Strengthening compliance and financial planning capabilities
  • Deepening collaboration across the Sangam ecosystem

Sangam continues to evolve as a platform of convergence, where intent meets action and collaboration drives impact.

Let’s keep building, learning, and scaling—together.
